I hadn't made this soup in awhile~ & really can't remember why?
It totally Rocks in a Soupy fashion!!!!!
(It's a knock off~ so shhh don't tell..........)
Venus de Milo-ish Soup
1 lb ground hamburger
1 package Lipton Onion Soup
46 oz chicken stock
1 can Delmonte Stewed tomatoes (process in Cuisanart/blender)
1/2 c peas
1/2 c corn niblets
1/2 c chopped carrots
1/2 c orzo noodles (cook separately)
Brown meat , drain
add chicken stock, & lipton (or any dry onion soup mix)
add the processed stewed tomatoes, with their juice ~
add the veggies & simmer 20 mins.
Meanwhile, cook orzo (or any other soup noodle you like) in another pan, according to directions
& then drain, add to the soup.
Serve w crusty bread!
Top w grated Pecorino-Romano if you feel extra Italian...
